Suicide Public Service Announcement 

In my animations class me and some fellow schoolmates were asked to make a PSA on a subject important to high schoolers. many chose things like procrastination and plagiarism but we chose suicide and bullying. Now the idea behind it was to inform people on the negative sides of bullying and how it effects the victims. The way we did this was by shooting all the shots on a  Flip camera and running them through Photoshop. We rotoscoped the whole thing using the pre-made filters in Photoshop. We rendered them and it was my part of the project to edit them together. I used Premier and was able to cut and meld all the shots into a coherent whole. Also putting the music to it. We chose 'Dead Girl Epilogue" by I am Ghost. Hopefully, if approved by the powers that be, this will show on monitors all around the school.

The Chronic Future

The Chronic Future is a game that my Animations class is designing. We were assinged to create a world as a group and create a character, a weapon and a vehicle. I made all three of mine by finding parts of other pictures and puting parts of the, together with photoshop. I then took the photoshopped image and traced and colored them with Flash. Together as a whole my class is building a game guide for The Chronic Future without actually programming the game.

   Character: Jack Krogen

Jack Krogen is the character I decided to create, I took the ides really from Jim Raynor the main hero in the Starcraft series. I found a charcoal drawing that someone did of Jim and took the face of it. That stylish hat is in fact from a picture of Charlie Chaplain in his Tramp get up. His whole body came from the promotional picture for the new Fallout game. I threw on a guitar for good measure. And i believed the city scapde in the back gave it a nice urban touch.

   Weapon: Smith and West L-2 Revolver

The weapon I chose to do was a take on an olds-school revolver. I found a picture for an antique gun on the internet which i used for the stock and chamber. Why? you might ask, is there a rocket launcher on it? or perhaps you are slightly confused by miniture chainsaw that adorns the bottom. Well that should be of no concern to you. I found the rocket launcher from a picture of Leon from Resident Evil 4. The laser that is shooting out of it comes from the Spartan Laser; the Halo series. And tha chainsaw can be found simply with the handy usage of google.

   Vehicle: Big Boy

For the vehicle I used a couple of different things from a many of different places. For the cannon I used a picture of a monument in some city located in Ireland; at least that is where im going to say it came from. The protruding fist came from a picture of a robot commensing to fire a rocket punch; a very effective technique if I might add. The tank head came from, wouldnt you believe it, a tank of all things. The wheels came from an old cartoon that you might remember when you all were just young lads running about your papas feet while he was sitting in the newly polished leather recliner with a  slick backed hair and black overals that suited his fancy, and of all things a pipe, with of course the sunday paper propped up in front of him; lets not forget the coffee. Yes my eager friends I am course talking of Steamboat Willie. No the driver of this cornecopia of imagination did not come from the murreal on the wall of the great general Custer, it is of course a picture i found while surfing the interwebs.
